Charles Fazzino
Charles Fazzino’s colorful, detailed and entertaining
limited-edition serigraphs must be seen to be believed. No photograph can do justice
to the three-dimensional, glitter and Swarovski rhinestone embellished masterpieces
of whimsy. His artwork is often fashioned in a shape that compliments the theme of the
piece, such as the Liberty Bell shaped “Yo, Only in Philly”.
This side view shows how each 3-D piece is constructed.
All the layers are cut out by hand and glued in place. Once the adhesive is cured,
Swarovski crystals and glitter are hand-applied. The result is a very labor intensive
and unique work of art. Fazzino embues his art with a sense of fun and spontaneity
and so much detail that new elements will suddenly present themselves for your enjoyment
even though you may think you are familiar with every aspect of the work!
